Where Oblivion Hides is a book about choreography as both an artistic method and a way of life; about the ability of art to portray what we remember, forget, or hope for. With seven dancers in focus, Efva Lilja presents the work and processes surrounding the creation of A Life as Right as Rain (The Good Life), where the movement of bodies becomes a shared pursuit of meaning within the complexity of the contemporary world. Photographs and choreographic scores help to provide a unique insight into how a work develops, from idea to premiere.
